Copy quality issues?
Clean the glass and slit glass.
Fax trouble?
Check for a dial tone.
Crooked copies?
Make sure the paper guides are in the correct place, in the paper tray.
Make sure you have the correct toner for your MFP – check the model number.
Check toner status: On the display, go to bottom right corner, touch Job Status, then go to Toner Tab.
Don’t throw away used toner cartridges or sump/waster toner bottles – WE RECYCLE!
Error codes are on the display in the upper right corner on the blue bar. Error codes are Alpha-Numeric. The Techs need to know the codes ahead of time so they have the correct parts and tools when they come to service your equipment.
Clean the glass and display with glass cleaner or isopropyl alcohol.
Clean the outside of MFP with Simple Green or glass cleaner.
Always remove staples and paper clips before making copies! Staples and paper clips will damage your Automatic Document Feeder! There is a small tray for them on the top of the MFP.
